Sabah Credit Corporation's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs started in 1997. It was launched as part of the Corporation's new training program PRIDE. The programs involved implementation of a small sized community and charitable projects, implemented on a collaboration basis between the staff of the Corporation and the beneficiaries of the projects.
Since 2005, the program has evolved into implementing larger scale projects. The Sabah State Government has given approval to the Corporation to utilise 10 per cent of the Corporation's annual profit after tax for this CSR program. Implementation of the smaller scale projects remain under the PRIDE program.
Since the introduction of this program, various communities, social and charitable projects have been completed and delivered. These projects are located at various locations in Sabah and have benefited thousands of Malaysians in Sabah.
